DESIGNED BY  |  TAF Studio

A modern round dining table

A natural focal point of the home, the Midst Table is a generous, round dining table where friends and family gather—and there is always room to squeeze in one more guest. Its refined silhouette is simple yet characteristic, enhanced by distinct detailing and contrasting materiality—matte solid oak or linoleum on a monolithic base made of spun steel with a durable high-gloss finish.

MATERIAL  | The tabletop is available in lacquered MDF with black nanolaminate top or lacquered MDF with a linoleum top, or FSC™-certified (FSC-C028824) solid oak, treated with either a clear or dark oil. Nanolaminate tabletops are also made using FSC™-certified (FSC-C028824) wood. The table base is made of powder-coated steel with a protective rubber ring under it. Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. Powder-coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more corrosion- and chip-resistant. Powder Coated Steel: Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant. Linoleum: Consists of linseed oil, wood flour and resin. The result is a silky matte look, adding a tactile dimension to the surface of a tabletop. Lacquered MDF: MDF stands for Medium-density fibreboard and is an engineered wood product. It is made from wood fibres that are formed into panels.

CARE  |  Linoleum:Clean with a damp cloth. If necessary, only use a mild detergent or washing up liquid and not concentrated. Always wipe with a dry cloth afterwards. To minimize the risk of stains and marks, liquid, grease etc. should be removed straight away. For linoleum versions, linoleum care is recommended for optimum saturation of the natural material 2-3 times a year. It is recommended to clean linoleum versions with a damp cloth and a pH neutral cleaner and wipe dry to remove any residues or with a microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the high-gloss lacquer. Use a small amount of mild dish soap on the cloth if necessary.

Solid Oak and Dark Oiled Oak: Upon receiving your table, we recommend that the top and bottom be treated with a special oak wood oil, improving its resistance to stains and fluids. We also recommend you continue caring for the product by repeating this treatment 2-3 times yearly. For products in Solid Oak, we recommend using a tabletop oil with a small amount of white pigment, suitable for food applications*. We recommend using a smoked tabletop oil suitable for dark-oiled oak products for food applications*.

Avoid placing the table in the immediate distance of a heat source. Do not place hot or wet objects directly on the table; they can leave a mark on the top. Metal objects can leave a mark if left on the table for extended periods. Spills should be removed immediately to avoid discoloring. Clean the tabletop often and carefully with a soft and dry cloth, following the wood grain pattern. The product should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.

Clean the base with a microfibre cloth to avoid scratching the high-gloss paint. Use a small amount of mild dish soap on the cloth if necessary.
